I found the Jw Marriott Parq Vancouver beautiful, but unfortunately not very family-friendly. While the staff was polite, I felt that the amenities, particularly the lounge access, could be better suited for families. The location was great, but the noisy atmosphere left me looking for more relaxation options.

Rooms
5.0
My room was comfortable, but nothing special for the price I paid. It felt ordinary and lacked some little niceties, like real cups instead of paper ones.
Service
5.0
The staff was friendly, but I did experience some issues, like an elevator problem that left me struggling with my mobility. They were quick to upgrade my room, but the service felt inconsistent overall.
Location
6.0
The hotel is conveniently located near BC Place, which was a plus, but it's in an area that's still being developed and could use better soundproofing due to the surrounding noise.
Dining
5.0
I enjoyed the breakfast, but the lounge food was disappointing. I found it overpriced and not worth the cost, especially when dining options were limited to room service.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities felt underwhelming compared to other JW Marriotts I've visited. The spa lacked a real lounge area, which was disappointing.

I had a fantastic stay at the JW Marriott Parq Vancouver. The service was excellent, especially when the staff went the extra mile to deliver tea to my room when my wife fell ill. The comfortable beds and the hotel's prime downtown location made my experience even better. However, the bathroom door's sliding mechanism and the room's outdated TV left some room for improvement. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for a leisure getaway! 😍✨

I had a mixed experience during my stay at the Jw Marriott Parq Vancouver. While the views from my room were stunning and the location was perfect for nearby events, the amenities left much to be desired. The noise in the lobby and lack of a proper lounge area were disappointing. Additionally, the experience at the restaurant didn't meet my expectations given the hotel's caliber.

Rooms

My room had floor-to-ceiling windows with an impressive water view, though the size felt small for the price. The decor was modern and inviting, but I missed certain niceties like real cups instead of paper ones.

The staff were attentive and friendly, making check-in smooth and ensuring I felt welcomed throughout my stay. They went the extra mile to accommodate my requests, which I appreciated.
Location

The hotel's location is fantastic, just a short walk to waterfront paths and the stadium. However, I did find the noise level from nearby events quite distracting, especially in the lobby.
Dining
7.0
I had brunch at Honey Salt, and the chicken and waffles were good. Unfortunately, the other dining options were limited, as I had to order room service instead of enjoying a proper meal at the restaurant.
Facilities

The facilities were adequate. However, I found the spa's waiting area lacking and the hot tub facilities unimpressive compared to other hotels.

5.4/10

My stay at JW Marriott Parq Vancouver had its highs and lows. The location was fantastic for exploring downtown, and Honey Salt restaurant was a good experience. However, the room's layout was peculiar, and I struggled with poor air circulation. leading to uncomfortable nights. Customer service fell short in addressing my concerns about room changes, which was disappointing.

Rooms
5.0
The corner suite was oddly laid out, with the living room feeling large but strangely appointed. The bedroom was cramped and poorly ventilated, making for a restless night. The bath was modern, which offered a nice view, yet lacked privacy due to the window placement.
Service
5.0
While the staff tried to be helpful, their inability to accommodate my room change request was frustrating. Even though I saw available rooms, they insisted otherwise, which tarnished my overall experience.
Location
7.0
The hotel is situated in a developing area, which is promising for the future. It was convenient for accessing downtown attractions and events like the Coldplay concert nearby.
Dining
9.0
Dining at Honey Salt was a highlight, with yummy food and a lovely atmosphere. I appreciated the convenience of having great dining options available within the hotel.
Facilities

The fitness room was bright and well-maintained, providing a good workout environment. However, I was disappointed by the lack of a swimming pool and limited amenities that could enhance the overall stay.

I had high expectations for my stay at the JW Marriott Parq Vancouver, but unfortunately, it didn't quite meet them. While the staff was extremely friendly and attentive, and the location was beautifully situated, I found the dining options to be overpriced and the room somewhat lacking in charm. Despite some positives, I was left feeling that this hotel might not be the best choice for families, particularly with the lounge access restrictions.

Rooms
5.0
The room was spacious and comfortable, but nothing particularly special stood out to me. It had plenty of storage space and was adequately clean, yet I expected more given the price point.

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. Their attentiveness made a positive impact on my experience, especially during the breakfast service.
Location
7.0
The hotel's location was excellent, providing easy access to nearby restaurants, theaters, and BC Place. However, I did encounter some noise issues due to the busy events happening in the area.
